An Honorable TSA Screener

As the world changes day by day, not many remember what it is to be honorable. Greed is what many now know and though it is terrible to say, its the truth. However, Transfer America commends a Transportation Security Administration screener who apparently returned $5,000. This unexpected deed is extremely honorable and not many would simply turn in $5,000 in cash. John Deschamp, a thirty-six year old man, spotted something on the floor on December 27, 2011. Deschamp described what he saw and said, “..the cash was wadded up, some of it bound by a paper band, as if it had been stuffed in a pocket”. Though security tried to use security cameras to find who the cash belonged to the cameras were unable to focus on that specific location.

After finding the money, Deschamp continued to walk to the nearest check-in desk, which was United Airlines, and handed the money over to them. A spokeswoman from United Airlines stated that if the money remains unclaimed it will go towards charity.
